Timbercreek Overlook is the farthest north of Zion wedding venues, while still situated in Zion National Park. As the only overlook available for weddings within Zion, this location can offer interesting wedding photos. The ceremony can be held on the patio area near the parking lot. Because of the cliffs in the east, the lighting at Timbercreek Overlook is notable for a sunrise ceremony. The extended golden hour can gussy-up wedding photos. For after the ceremony, people can hike the nearby trail with cedar trees and additional overlook spots for more photos and recreation. Please practice safety for your photos. Timbercreek Overlook is easily accessible and closer to Cedar City, which can be convenient for guests. Being separate from the main park, it remains a less crowded venue compared to other Zion wedding venues. Couples need to get a Special Use Permit from Zion National Park at least three weeks before their wedding date.
